WHO released the World Health Statistics 2022
On 20th May the Global Health Leader shared an invaluable resource enabling to better analyse the health trends, situations and disparities across regions of the world.
Focusing on morbidity and mortality, the report underscores the sore impact of the COVID-19 on the health statistics and the global progress:
The statistics reveal the extent to which the pandemic has been affecting health systems worldwide, in some cases severely curtailing access to vital services.
These disruptions are likely to set back global progress on both life expectancy and healthy life expectancy made in the first 20 years of the century.
